The original B-model ZX-9R launched Kawasaki’s 899cc class with a powerful inline-four and ram-air induction, aimed at riders wanting more than a 750 without stepping up to a full litre bike. Big, quick and comfortable, it defined the model’s road-focused character. The ZX-9R silencer is built to order at Blueflame’s Staffordshire workshop, TIG welded throughout.
