Both the H2 SX and the higher-specification SE share the same 998cc supercharged inline-four and the same catalytic mid-section beneath the engine. A de-cat pipe replaces that section, cutting weight from a heavy part of the bike and easing flow ahead of the silencer. On a forced-induction engine the exhaust path matters more than usual, so owners fitting an aftermarket silencer often address the mid-pipe at the same time.
