Kawasaki’s flagship sports tourer takes the 1352cc inline-four from the ZZR1400 and retunes it for torque, feeding shaft drive through a chassis built for two-up mileage. Around 155hp, variable valve timing, hard panniers and an adjustable screen made it a genuine continent-crosser that could still shift when asked. It stayed in the range for well over a decade with only detail changes. The GTR1400 silencer is built to order at Blueflame’s Staffordshire workshop, TIG welded throughout.
